Quick Stop Entertainment

I was watching Sold Out: A Threevening With Kevin Smith, and heard for the first time about SModcasts. Of course, now I am in the middle of downloading a couple of them to see how they are. A SModcast is Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier talking about stuff for about an hour. Here is the link:

Plime

This is another website that has interesting links to stuff on the internet. When you click on a link, it opens up another window or tab. I usually check it out once a week so that enough new stuff accumulates.

Leykis

I really like listening to Tom Leykis. A lot of what he says makes a lot of sense.
I don't agree with him 100% of the time, but he is still entertaining. Usually, I just download both hours of Leykis 101, which are on Thursdays, hours 3 & 4. Sometimes there are some interesting topics, and I'll download them as well.

Here is the link for the podcasts.

WOOT

I don't do much shopping on the internet, but there's one interesting site that I would shop on, if I actually had money. WOOT.com has one item for sale at a time, and it's discounted (one day, one deal). Some items are brand-new, while others are reconditioned. I only know of one person that orders from them and they really like WOOT.

Go Comics

I like to read the comic strips everyday. Unfortunately, the local papers don't carry every strip I like, so I have to go online to read them. One website I like is Go Comics. Not only do they carry ones not available locally, but the Sunday ones that the locals don't publish.

Cake Wrecks

Here is a funny blog I like to read every day called Cake Wrecks. It's pictures of professionally made cakes that go horribly, hilariously wrong.

LAist and MGM Channel on YouTube

LAist is part of a group of websites that have the name of a city and "ist" added to the end. It's a blog about things in Los Angeles like movie reviews, restaurant reviews, commentary on politics in L.A. and California, music reviews, and a bunch of other things. Examples are: Bostonist, Gothamist(for NYC), Torontoist, Londonist, etc. Since I've lived in the L.A. area, this is the on I like best(except for right now when they're having 80 degree weather and I'm here freezing!)

Also, I found this on YouTube:
